Chris Brown has officially released his latest album, BROWN. The 27-track project marks his 12th studio release and follows the success of his Grammy-winning album 11:11 (Deluxe).
Ahead of the release, Brown shared a cinematic black-and-white teaser introducing the album’s collaborators. The video opened with the line, “Tonight, at the House of Brown, we proudly present ‘A Night of Soul: R&B and Timeless Classics,’ starring Chris Brown,” before unveiling the featured artists — which includes appearances from Leon Thomas, Bryson Tiller, Tank, Lucky Daye, Fridayy, Vybz Kartel, NBA YoungBoy, GloRilla, and Sexyy Red.
Several previously released tracks will appear on the LP, including Holy Blindfold, Obvious, It Depends, and Fallin’. While Usher does not appear on the official album tracklist, he previously joined Brown on “It Depends (The Remix),” released last October.
The album comes just before Brown launches “The R&B Tour,” his upcoming co-headlining stadium run with Usher. The tour begins June 26 in Denver and is scheduled to visit cities including Detroit, Washington, Toronto, and Las Vegas before concluding in Tampa on Dec. 12.
