Erykah Badu has announced a limited run of North American performances this September, bringing her acclaimed live show to venues across the United States and Canada.
Dubbed the “LIVE” tour, the dates will feature producer The Alchemist throughout the run, with hip-hop pioneers De La Soul joining multiple stops and rapper Smino appearing at select West Coast performances.
Following her Aug. 9th headlining appearance at the Richmond Jazz and Music Festival at Maymont Park in Virginia, the tour begins Sept. 10 at the Ravinia Festival in Highland Park, Illinois before making stops at premier outdoor amphitheaters and arenas including the Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre in Detroit, the RBC Amphitheatre in Toronto, and Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, New York. Badu will then head west through Colorado before closing out at the historic Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on September 29.
Prior to launching her North American amphitheater tour, Badu will complete a brief residency circuit across Japan, featuring several intimate club sets at Billboard Live venues in Yokohama, Tokyo, and Osaka, as well as a prominent slot at the Soul Camp festival.
